Power Supply

im runnin XP home. is there any way to display the current power demands of my pc? or a program i can use to check? Im looking to see if i need to get a new one, i just got a new DVD writer drive for Christmas and i want to know if ill be fine with my cureent supply. Also, what kind of power supplies do you have? Thanks for any help

You should list your system specs.

This will help determine your wattage needs but just as important is the amps if you list your specs we can help with this. I think it is very important to buy name brand they cost a lot more but eliminate problems not just now but down the road.

Look at the psu's in both of my signatures do a google on both read some reviews. Antec true I will always recommend, Ultra has taken some heat maybe cause there relativly new but so far everyone I have heard that owns one has been happy.
