I'm looking to build a new computer from scratch. I was wanting to get some suggestions. I'm looking to spend around $1000.00

First thing you need 2 tell us is what primary purpose is this computer going to fullfill? Or rather, what are you planning on doing with it? Are you into gaming, are you an audiophile, is this going to be for work, will the kids be using it? Once you answer these question we could give you more suggestions! =D

Ok, all that is about $1023 (not including shipping)
Included is a 3700 Proc (sandy) which over clocks to 2.6 easily on stock core. 7900 GT is nvidias newest GPU (the 7900 benchmarks OVER the 7800 GTX for half the money) Audigy 2 ZS is a solid soundcard, supports 7.1, and is what i personally use. Western digital 160 Gig HDD (you could get 2 80 gigs and RAID 0 them for performance) Corsair XMS Ram (2 gig) Antec Case With PSU (450 watt, not enough for SLI probably, though with the 7900 built on 90nm technology it MIGHT be, not sure) Asus SLI Mobo (great for OCing). If you do decide to OC the processor I would suggest an aftermarket cooling solution which will run you around 60+ dollars for a good one! Please note the processor is SINGLE core, not dual, though in most cases (sans the FX-60) single core is still better for gaming then dual core. Yell at me if i left anything out!
