I've been searching for a safe and reliable software for monitoring employee internet use. Thought interguard was my answer finally, until reading that it is a scam. Back to square one. Any help is appreciated.

    Hi

How big of a company are you and how many employees are you wishing to monitor and how many PCs?

What Windows versions are used and do you use servers also for the likes of shared storage?

Are you in one location or multiple?

What do you wish to spend on this?

    ActivTrak is free but limited

In work we use Websense but as a gov entity and with 5000+ users its cost effective, but for smaller companies not so much.

    HI

ActivTrak will cover 3 PCs for free and worth looking at and have you read up on the link JoeRay12 posted as some alternatives in his link.

On a side note and don't know the laws in your country or location but maybe worth also looking into employment law on monitoring staff and having an internet or PC usage policy that is signed by all, so if any issues on PC usage are found, you likely covered as a heads up has been given to all, worth talking also to a lawyer in employment.
