Outlk2003 r-click not wrking on calndr evnts & they 'canot b displyd in readg pane' ?

When r-click on calendar event, normally get popup menu to change some features, like 'label' etc, and able to relocate the event on the calendar.
Also same events 'cannot be displayed in reading pane'.
Some browsing seems to suggest re-naming some Outlook *.dat files (but nothing specific to this problem) for similar problems and re-start Outlook for re-set.

Thoughts ?

Ps:
Scanpst.exe and 'Detect and Repair...' dont help.

Run > 'Outlook.exe /safe' did help, but normal start still not working.

Sometimes repairing Microsoft Office doesn't solve the problems. I suggest you do a re-install.

Fyi, un/re-installed Office2003, but still had same problem with OL.
Then uninstalled, deleted a bunch of Office/Outlook registry keys etc, reinstalled, changed to old .pst data files (good indication that reinstall was truly new, previous un/re went to same old .pst files), and seemed to work.
Pain in the ukw, but Office2003/OL seems back to 'normal'.

If you haven't done so, I suggest you install SP3 for Microsoft Office 2003. The SPs for Microsoft Office are cumulative, you don't need SP1, SP2 & SP3.

Did the MO SP3 update, and all seems to have gone well for now.
Only lost gSyncit (needed for sync OL2003 to shared Google calendar) toolbar, and had to reinstall (guess not a normal addin), but no big deal.
