Sound Blaster Audigy Se/7.1 mic problems

Have recently installed an Audigy SE 7.1 card and disabling my previous inbuilt mobo Realtek card. SO far sound is perfect for games and other apps, but my microphone is having problems. After reading up and going thru the settings the only thing i have managed is static when mic is activated with some very bad feedback but none of it with my voice (hardware testing non responsive as well as teamspeak/ventrilo giving only static, any help would be appreciated!!




My current volume settings (volume muted stops continuous static thru speakers((still worked on my old inbuilt soundcard))
