    Hi,where is the best site to download free version of adaware? Also,when new versions of adaware and/or updates become available,is it always necessary to uninstall previous version first?

    You have the adress in another posting but you also asked about the frequent upgrades that LavaSoft promulgates. Its all done quite automatically by clicking on the update tag in the program - and the update is automatically installed.

    The updates you download are reference file updates, automatically installed as Robert pointed out. Ad-aware hasn't had a version update in a long while. When they do the next version update I'm sure Lavasoft will include upgrade instructions.

    Correct. FYI, to wander off track, a new version is in the works. My understanding is it wont be too long.
