Need help with a slow system

    Working on trying to fix my daughters computer.

    Installed logitec web cam

    October
    Downloaded 1500 pictures from my snap fish file
    Started playing bejeweled blitz on facebook

    November or late October started slowing down

    Symptoms
    Start up about 10 minutes
    Playing games very slow and jerky

    Ran the suggested programs plus spybot
    SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware both ran with no errors and did not created any logs.

    When I ran ComboFix.exe I got this error – (Error – end of index past block), I deleted it and then downloaded the application again and ran it, I got the same error. I have two log files for it, but they look identical so only including the last one.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Additional information.

    When is logged into bejewelled quest on facebook and then tries to open an email message in MSN she getting hundred of new explore pages trying to open to facebook login. Most the time can not cancel, uses 100% cpu and has to do a hard restart.

    This restart takes about 15 minutes.

    Hope you smart people can help me out here.

    I would first suggest that you use a different computer and change her passwords on all online accounts.

    Do this for me, please:


    1. Download GMER and save to your desktop. Note: The file will be randomly named to prevent active malware from stopping the download.
    2. Close all other open programs before running GMER because there is a slight chance your computer could crash.
    3. Double click the GMER program ******.exe. Your security programs may detect GMER's driver trying to load. Please allow it.
    4. You may see a warning saying GMER has detected rootkit activity. If so, select NO.
    5. Leaving the settings at default, click Scan.
    6. When the scan is complete, click Save and save the log onto your Desktop where it should be easy for you to find.
    7. Attach the log to your next message.
