On my other PC Internet Explorer, and well all browsers really, are having a problem connecting to websites using the DNS. When I use the IP for the site, I can connect though. Of course I can not click any internet links because those use DNS as well as update any of my drives/anti virus or other software because that also requires DNS...Any help much appreciated.

Try this ... go to the Start Bar, All Programs, Accessories, Command Prompt ... open it and type ipconfig /flushdns

Well then we know it wasn't your DNS cache ... do you have XP or Vista?
