    Good Day All -
Trying to move contacts and old emails from Laptop to new Laptop. Tried to export/import, but an excel plugin is needed which we do not have.
Can I copy a couple of data files from the old Laptop to the new one? If so, does anyone know the file names and locations?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Two questions:

    1. Which version of Outlook are you using? (Are you're not mistaking it for Outlook Express, right? They're two different animals)

    2. What format are you exporting to? It's typically easiest to export to .PST You won't need Excel for that, at least.

I agree with Mada_Milty on .PST. But, by the way, if you were exporting to a file that could be opened in Excel, that must be .CSV, and you don't need any Excel plug-in open a .CSV file.

Thx. Were using Outlook (not O.E.). Were trying to move to the same version of Outlook, just on a different computer. Hoping to just copy data file, but happy to import/export if it will get'er done.

    Thanks for the help.
