    Welcome to Major Geeks!

This may or may not be due to malware. What had you been doing on your PC prior to this starting to happen? Did you download and install anything new? Did you install any new hardware?

Does the PC run okay if you do not connect to the Internet?
Does it run okay in safe mode? Even try connecting to the internet in safe mode if your PC allows this?

Do you have a way to copy files onto this PC?

Also, have you seen and tried the below from Microsoft

    Update for Windows XP (KB894391)

    Generic Host Process error message

i have installed rktools for to allow 2 systems to communicate , actually i have 2 machines and both of them are running win xp , i wanted to share some files between them , so i have installed rktools in both systems .
( i think so this error message appears after this installation)

i am able to copy the files, this error messages appears only after some few minutes of connection to the internet , if i dont connect to the internet then it will not appear

i have already downloaded the windows updated from the mentioned 2 links but still getting the same error

i did not try to connect to the internet in safe mode .

by the way now i have removed the rktools from both of the system and i have unpluged the cable connection from the 2 machines but still getting the same error.

i have tried to make restore but i the restore was not successful ( it can not make restore to the retore point)

Try connecting to the interent in Safe Mode with Networking Support. We are trying to determine if this is caused by malware or something else.
