Can I parse out Windows Media Center from a recovery disc?

    Hi, I just purchased a new Toshiba laptop that came with Vista. I will be getting rid of Vista in favor of XP but I really like Windows Media Center that comes with Vista. Is there a way I can save it on its own and then reinstall it when I put XP on? Of course all I have is a recovery disc.
