If i reinstall windows xp will i lose all my mp3, picture and txt files? Will it delete all my programs?

 

If you format, then yes.

If you select a repair, then probably not, although nothing is guaranteed.

What is the problem, you may have other options?

 

my problem is that I downloaded a copy of Norton NAV from kazaa and now it doesn't want to leave. I've tried kill box and I've tried windows install clean up. I can't get rid of this program. When I tried to install a legit copy of NAV it says I have to remove the old version? I tried rNAV.exe also and nothing. My computer stands wide open now with no anti virus or firewall.

A repair of Windows won't really address your problem and will probably complicate and make things worse.
