Okay, I've read through the stickies and performed everything I could on 64bit Win7, but I'm still having the redirect problem. The logs from all three programs are attached and any input would be greatly appreciated.

A couple other things I've noticed about the google page itself browsing in firefox...first, the cursor doesn't sit quite right in the search box. It's kind of low and not centered. Second, when I hit the back button it frequently doesn't go back to my last search results. Instead it goes back to a blank google screen. If I hit the forward button after that, it will sometimes then go "back" to the search results. Needless to say, it's all very frustrating.

    Thanks!

It very well could be your router. There is a little button on the bottom ( on most models ) to reset it to factory settings. Do that. You may then need to go back into it to set any special setting that you may have set up originally. But do that first and see if that doesn't take care of it.

You can test this theory by connecting directly to your modem and if the redirects stop, then you know it is the router that is infected.

Now let's flush the FireFox Cache
    To flush your FireFox Cache:

    • click Tools
    • select Options
    • select Privacy
    • in the section labeled Private Data click Clear Now

Now Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
Make sure that you tell me if you receive a success message about adding the above
to the registry. If you do not get a success message, it definitely did not work.

If there is still no change after resetting the router then please back up your bookmarks, uninstall firefox > reboot > run ccleaner > and re-install firefox, import your bookmarks back in.

    Any change? Still being redirected?
