File transfer

I would like to know a good program for transferring files over the INTERNET from one computer to another.Thanks

 

Assuming you're using Windows, any reason not to use the FTP that's inbuilt? Start - Run, then type in ftp and click Okay. Type help and hit Enter and you'll get a list of commands. Use Open to connect to the computer you're aiming for. To get more information on any of the commands, type help and then the command you want help on, such as: help glob

Otherwise, WS_FTP by Ipswitch is good if you want one that uses a pictorial view. It isn't free but you can try it first. Don't know if there are any free ones mentioned in the download area here.
