running on winXP(ro)...when i put some of the antispyware and other .exe files directly onto it, and try to right click and rename the files, for simplicity...i get a window pop-up saying "please insert the last disk"
    then i click "don't send"
    get this other pop-up
    Error Signature
AppName: explorer.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.2180 ModName: unknown
    ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00005049

with my old sandisk usb key i had ZERO issues, but thought id grab this usb key since, my buddy works at Crap Buy (sorry Best Buy) and his staff discount was really good on it).

Any ideas why the USB key is giving issues? thanks guys.

You might try disabling write-behind caching on that drive. You may need to use "safely remove hardware" to keep this error from happening. Some USB drives don't need it (Lexar, for example) but others (such as Toshiba) seem to need it.
