Mambo CMS oppinions and thoughts

I have just installed Mambo on my local machine for testing, it looks a real good CMS and it should work great with my political forum running on the SMF board (www.simplemachines.org)

My site is total no geek so no need for me to post it..

I am already using a portal bridged with SMF (http://smf.mkportal.it/) but i am having issues with logging in and out i believe it is an issue with MKPORTAL itself and bridging with SMF so like i say mambo may be the answer because i know there is a stable bridge so anyone here used mambo or is using it and could tell me what your thoughts are on it.. Thank you..

I found Easyphp the best and easiest for installing on a local machine..
