Unknown Problem

Ok, so I was turning everything off on my computer to go to sleep. Then this pop up came that was like some anti-virus software...sort of like winfixer. It downloaded on my computer and so I uninstalled it and ran ad-aware and spybot search & destroy. Then my background turned white like someone had used the ms paint tool on it, I clicked on properties and it wouldnt let me. I then went to shut everything down and the xp window had changed. When I logged off I saw the white go away and the background show up. I have never seen this before, any information would be of great help.

Run this: Virtumonde aka Trojan Vundo Removal and attach the requested logs to your next message.

If this does not fix your problems, you will need to run thru all of the below.

Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

- Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

- Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:
