Hi all. Just found these forums. Got a dumb question. I'm dual booting Windows XP/Vista. I have installed the chipset drivers for my motherboard in Windows XP. (ASUS A8N-SLI). Do I need to install them for Vista? Somewhere I was told that Vista will install the chipset drivers. So far, (2 months) I can't tell if I need them or not?

    Hi

Yes Vista does tend to on install pickup the latest WHQL Chipset Driver for your motherboard, be it Intel, Nvidia, ATI or VIA, you will generally notice if it has not by going to Device Manager and noticing alot of Yellow ! Marks for items such as USB Host Controllers etc
