I want to install a new HD in my PC. I have only 4 3.5 slots in my tower. two of them are already full with smaller HDs. My question is if it's safe to install two HDs one on top of another. I'm worried about heat issues.

    Does anyone have any idea?

I've done it, and it ran flawlessly for three years 24 hours a day. Yes there is excessive heat (I hardly ever turned the thermostat up in my room) However I would recommend adding another case fan, If there is a front port pull air in from there.
