Computer will not shut down

    I am trying to shut down my computer it just restarts. To get it to turn off completely I have push the power button. Do any one why this could be happening? I have not added anything new to my computer. Please help

    Right click "My Computer", click "Properties" and select "Advanced" tab.
    Click the "Settings" button in the "Startup and Recovery' section.
    Remove the checkmark from "Automatically Restart" in "System Failure" section.

    By doing this you should get an error message next time you shut down. Take note of what the error message is.
