    Does anyone know of a way to lock Firefox's Proxy settings to no one is able to change them???

    For example I have proxy settings set to a certain IP Address and right now anyone can just set it to direct connection and bypass my security system.

    Any help is appreciated.

    This may be something up your alley. Not sure if this is exactly what you want:

    Remove items from the main menuSome people like to place all their toolbar items on the same row as the menu. In order to save horizontal space, you can remove top menu items that you don't use. Add the following code to your userChrome.css file:
    /* Remove the Go and Help menus
    (These are just examples. Try changing "Go" to "Edit" or "Bookmarks") */
    menu[label="Go"], menu[label="Help"] {
    display: none !important;
    }

    Thank you so much I think that might just work because it blocks off the Tools menu therefore a user can't get into Firefox's Settings and change them.

    Run this as url chrome://browser/content/preferences/preferences.xul :)

    You can even make a desktop shortcut popping up options window. And there is "about:config" plus several extensions which can change configuration. Notepad is enough. Those who think of changing proxy will probably know this.

    Hey thanks for that but, do you know a way to block it so that also won't work???

    Nope, I dont think you can use Firefox for this. What kind of users do you have? ;) If they are so inventive should they have access at all? OS security and perhaps other programs can take better care of them.

    Thanks to Bambo too for the tip searching Mozilla's website. I found someone with the code I wanted and I noticed what my issue was I needed parentheses.

    Thanks for all the help :)
