Angry BAN MAC Address on router?



hey people,

just wanted to know how do i ban a MAC address on my router?
(so that MAC address will NOT be granted internet access)

i have an ADSL ROUTER made by CONEXANT

Hmmm...well, I can't find the specific model, so I can give you generic advice. I would try logging into a web console, if the router supports it. This is done by typing the router's IP address into the address bar of your favourite web browser. From there, you would have to find a section for MAC address filtering (if it is provided), and then set a deny rule for the MAC address you want to ban.

Sorry I couldn't find more specific instructions for you. I hope you have some luck doing this. Keep in mind your router may not support this function at all!

on my router its called "bridge filtering", this router running conexant software as well.
