pc design help
ok, i am doing a few major upgrades. i need to know if a few things are compadable with the motherboard i plan to use. to me it all seems logical. im mixing new parts with ancient parts (im poor). here we go.
Mother Board: PC CHIPS M870 Socket 754 SiS 755 ATX AMD Motherboard - OEM Processor: AMD Sempron 64 2800+ Palermo 1.6GHz Socket 754 Memory: WINTEC AMPO 256MB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) HDD: Bigfoot TX8 (i think its ata33. will it work on an ata100 board?[future upgrade]) Audio: Onboard (future upgrade) Video: ATI Rage Pro Fury (future Upgrade) Power Supply: HELP!!!!

All parts as far as I can tell are compatable.
As far as power supply I would get: Thermaltake TR2 W0070 ATX 430W Power Supply You can get it at: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817153023 Hope this helps.

 : Hi. If you can download the mobo manual, that will tell you more than anything. I would go to the mfr's site and look to see if it's there. Most sites have downloadable pdf's...a big help to someone in your situation. Good night and good luck.
