WHEN YOU BUMP YOUR THREAD OR ADD UNNECESSARY POSTS, YOU LENGTHEN THE TIME TO GET A RESPONSE!

It does not matter whether the bump is intentional or not. Even if you post to say this is not a bump, it is a bump. Any additional post will not cause your thread to be read sooner. It will be read later. If later find you have more info to add, avoid adding it because it will add more delay in getting any answer. If only a short time of an hour has elapsed since your previous post, it will cost you at least an hour more. If a day or two has elapsed, and you make another post, it will cost you at least a day or two more. Thus you could turn a two day waiting time into four days.

Each time you bump your thread by posting another message, you do not bump to the top. You bump to the bottom of the work queue. You are better off posting once and waiting for an answer. Even starting another thread (which you should not do anyway) will not help because of the procedure we use to work thru threads needing an answer. We work from oldest to newest order in the threads and when you bump or start a new thread, you become newer. So bumping could cost you a day or two of additional waiting time. ( See the Exception Notes at the bottom of this message )

Malware is spreading like an epidemic and all forums that assist in removing malware are extremely busy. Recently there has been an exponential increase in infections and many are much more difficult and time consuming to remove. Thus waiting times for help are also growing significantly ( currently about 5 days ). Some forums have now even stopped dealing with malware logs because it is requiring too much of peoples free time. This is a non-paid service and many helpers give up most of their free time to do this since it takes a lot of time, but they are doing it for free and only when they have time to do so. We are doing our best to help all users needing assistance, so do please bear with us until we can get to you.

If you are looking for help with malware problems, the FIRST thing you need to do is follow the instructions in the below link even before posting:

READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

Exception Notes to queue work flow:
    1. You may see one or two messages that appear to be getting answered out of order This occurs because we have some malware helpers who are in training and can only answer a limited number of threads and this is also performed via an approval process. Thus these helpers are restricted to only answer certain threads. But they are also working on their work list in oldest to newest order.
    2. Extremely dangerous or new infections that we need to collect information on quickly so we can develope fixes for may also get handled out of order.
