Download the attached GetDetails.zip file. Extract the GetDetails.exe file from it anywhere you can find it afterwards but it would be a good idea to but it into a folder with named C:\MGtools or similar so you know what it is for later.
    • Now locate the GetDetails.exe file and double click on it to run it.
    • Paste into the window the information that has been given to you by a helper here on Majorgeeks. Only one filename with path is allow per line.
    • After you paste in the information, click the Run Report button.
    • You will see a new window come up titled Report Created! This window will tell you where the log file has been created (C:\Reports) and will give you the filename which is named FileDetails-ddmmyyxxxxxx.txt where
      • dd = 2 digit day
      • mm = 2 digit month
      • yy = 2 digit year
      • xxxxxx = 6 digit time
    • You also will be given the choice to view the file now. You don't have to view it. It is not required.
    • You will however have upload the logfile as an attachment to your next message in the thread where you are being helped.
Credits! Thanks to matt.chugg for creating this utility for us (with a little pushing from me :p )!
