Smaller HD, and more spindle speed......im not so sure!

See, I wouldn't recommend Intel if you plan on gaming. Go with AMD. And also I recommend ddr, not ddr2 memory. Even though its newer, the ddr2 lags alot. And for the motherboard of amd, i recommend the gigabyte ga-k8n-sli. I have it and its really good!

hate to be contrary but Intel core 2 procs SMOKE AMD procs in pretty much every category, including price. A comparable AMD chip to the e6600 is the fx-62 which cost about twice as much.

ok first off the 680i offers a better feature set than any other chipset, we wont see a better chipset untill RD600 and the new intel chipset. That said the board you picked is very nice, 2nd of all the E6600 is a super preformer and will beat anything out there in the AMD lineup. Your video card is good, but I recomend an eVga because of the life time warranty and stepup program. Your computer looks great and will run great with the parts you have choosen.

Geez. Do they know how to build pcs? The mobo supports up to 667mhz ddr2, but the combo has ddr2-800mhz. What a waste!

I too lean toward the Gigabyte simply because it's a good overclocker. As for psu, the silverstone hands down.

Conroe smokes anything AMD right now. That's coming from an AMD fanboy. See sig.
