Citrix causing crashes??

Hi Guys,
recently I loaded a citrix program onto my PC to log in to my companys headquaters database. Soon after my PC developed bad habits such as locking up, blue screening and shutting down. I removed the program as best I could but I still suffer shutdowns especially in the middle of Age of Empires 3. Can anyone shed some light please.
