Cpu wont boot with video card

i am trying to install a new video card (AGP) in my pc. it wont boot up when i put it in.
ive updated bios, chipset, tried 3 diff. cards. it only boots when i use an older card.
Motherboard is an ASUS P4P800x p4 3.0
any help?????

what card is it? what is the computer model number? ex: Dell Dimension # etc... If its custom build, what PSU are you using?

not sure the brand of psu but its 450 watts. ive tried 3 diff. cards that all work in another pc. also ive used a diff. psu from a comp that the card(s) work in and nothing.

have u tried this card in any other computers? if it doesnt work, return it and get a new card
