error message

when we go to websites and click on someones email addy to email them we get this message:error loading program files\intern~\hmmapi.dll specific module could not be found-any ideas what is wrong thank you timmer

 

What OS are you running ?
if Not windows XP then what version of Internet Explorer are you running?

the dll it's referring to is used with hotmail email.

You have to run a repair on IE.
Go to control panel --> add/remove and locate the listing for IE and click on remove.. It should prompt you with some selections one of which is REPAIR. Choose that and let it repair IE.

 

kodo, tried your suggestion and still not working, any other ideas? thanks running xp and 5.0 messenger

 

do a search on your system for that file and see if it exists..
