IE - 'Error on page' when I click on button on screen?

What is the deal here?

I keep getting javascript errors on Internet Explorer pages when I try to click on some of the buttons.

I'm using Win-XP, any suggestions as to what the fix is for this?

We need more information. Like what website you were using and what were you trying to do exactly.

 

this could be caused by two things.

firstly, the sites you visit could well have bad js on them - thus u can't fix the errors.

the second possibility is that your ie files might be broke. try installing like a SP upgrade to it - or re-installing it from scratch...

 

Error On Page

Ummm...the PC recently had XP installed over Win 2000.

That's when I noticed these errors. They occur on several different screens from several different sites.
Someimes when I click on a button..sometimes when I click on a link..and sometime as the page is loading.

So, this is a 'Java Script' error? (I wasn't sure.)

Is there a way to verify the whatever is needed for Java Script support is installed properly?

Just go to options and turn off seeing JavaScript debugging!!!


EDIT: It's because people aren't very smart and checktheir JS.
