    Hi there all forum users,

I've got a question that I wonder if anyone here has an answer to?

I have a Sony Vaio PCG FX502 for my portable laptop. What I need to know is how to set the colour correction balance to a more neutral image friendly setting.
I have shot images on camera and transfered them to the laptop but the images are artifically brighter than what they really are. The flat screen gives a lift to the pictures that does not transfer on other media. Therefore any post image editing adjustment (say in photoshop) is useless and does not reflect a true picture.
    Any ideas?

There is color calibration stuff you can get, I have found that a CRT monitor is the best for prints. The LCD is sweet as heck for most stuff, but the old CRT rules, in my opinion for optimal printing quality.
