im looking at buying a new asus motherboard

i have seen 2 motherboards im intested in buying but was woundering the pro's and cons etc in both

needed to replace a Abit AN9 fatil1ty 32x SLI 590

what motherboards are the ones that have a nice voice that tells you if you forget to connect a hard drive up

i have 2x7300 PCIe 16 geforce 7 cards waiting
AMD Althon 64 X2 4200 socket AM2 that needs a place to live
in one of the motherboards

also whats the diffence between SLI 570 and SLI 590?

what motherboards are the ones that have a nice voice that says somthing on the lines of "hard drive not connected" if you forget to connect your hard drive up?

or is that just an urban mith?

 

after doing some more looking i have found that my current power supply
only has a 4pin p4 connector and not a 8pin EPS connector because it's a cheap 500watt PSU 19A

would i need to get a new power supply or should i use one of the molex to 8 pin EPS converters?
