How do I remove a hard drive from a Mac?
I'm about to donate an old Mac but I'd like to remove the hard drive first so sensitive info doesn't get out there. Can someone walk me through the steps? Is it the same as a PC (that I can do) or does a Mac hard drive look different?

I am having a bit of a problem identifying the hard drive. I opened the back and clearly found the CD rom, but there are two silver boxes that could be the hard drive. Both say "Quantum Fireball." Why two? There's a much larger component hidden inside a metal shell, too. Is that it?

nope quantum fireball will be it, maybe two for more storage or what not.
