By default this group does not have IE access. I wish to change this so users with low level rights may get on the web but not be able to make major changes knowingly or or unknowingly

You may be able to set group policies to do this in XP Pro. XP Home has not such features AFAIK.

Thank you in advance for your help. It is possible that Policies may help but I alas have never ventured there. I also neglected to spec out that this is a 2K Pro box SP4. At any rate, the default user group does not have Internet access and I wish to permanently change this group so a low level user may get on the web. Looking into the local policies as they are with a fresh install I see nothing directly saying "Internet Access". Again, I have never messed with this area.
