    I have an MSI K9NBPM2-FID motherboard with an AM2 Athlon 64 X2 4600+.

Was wondering if there is a patch or download that enables Windows XP Pro to utilize a dual core processor better.

Seems to me that I overheard someone talking about it recently, and am curious.

    Thanx

Well, I am curious also, looking at going dual core in the future, so I do not have a good answer for you. Here is a link from AMD's site. If you try it, let us know if it helped or not. Like I said, I have no experience with dual core computers, so use some caution before using it.

    amd dual cpu optimizer

    Good luck.

Thanx, I'm gonna talk to AMD first... before I change anything.

    P.S. - I just benched this thing with nBench = 3307 (overall)

(vid card is - EVGA 9750 GT 512mb)

    Again, Thanx for the input.
