PCI Simple Communications Controller

    Hi all

    I have a Dell Latitude D810 and just reformated and installed Win XP with SP2 on it. Device driver puts a device in the Other Devices category and lists it a PCI Simple Communications Controller. I don't know what it is and cannot find the driver. Can anyone help?

    Ya, telephone modem. You have to use the disk provided, if you still have it, or find out the make /model and try to find the drivers.
