I've brwosed the forum but couldn't find an answer to my issue.

I'm using a DLP HDTV as a pc monitor and can only get 4:3 type of resolutions to work, not 16:9. There is no software driver for my TV so I'm using the plug and play monitor driver. I have an ATI Rage 128 Pro video card and have already updated that driver. still no 16:9 resolution. I basicially want 1280x720 resolution as that is what my TV recommends, but these will be fine also:

    1088x612
    1152x648
    1149x648
    1054x600

Any monitor driver or tweak that can give me those resolutions? Is it safe to use a monitor driver that is a different brand? Cause I feel like just randomly downloading all the preloaded monitor drivers in XP until I get a widescreen resolution.

    TIA

Apparently, it is possible to add resolutions, but you could need a program like
    Powerstrip

There is also an abundence of information here, at
