Psu

    Yeah, after speaking to Asus tech support, I have determined that the mobo needs:
    +3.3v/28a
    +5v/30a
    +12v/18-20a

    The PSU that I have does not meet the 18a on the +12v. Nor do two of the three I posted above.

    The only one that does is the CoolMax. The price is in my range. Is this an OK brand? Computer Shopper used a CoolMax case/PSU in a "build a great system for $500" issue.

    Personally, I've had nothing but good results w/ Coolmax but others think they're :crap ..... If you had another $10-$15 in your budget, you could step up to stronger PSU. Several good brands: Seasonic, Vantec, Thermaltake. I've never heard of Rosewill; sounds like a budget Taiwan company ;)

    BTW- 300w is too small regardless of the amps.... I'd never go below 375w or 400w, even on low-consumption non gaming PC's....
