vista

bought a new computer not long ago and just got the free vista upgrade everything went smoth upgrading but now my dvd burning software says it is not compatible was using nero 6.6 and also tried roxio can anyone tell me what is a good cd/dvd burning software that works with vista free one would be nice since I have bought 2 within the last 6 months

 

Try Nero 7. It's not free, but I'm pretty sure it'll work. For free there's CD Burner XP Pro 3 but I'm not sure it works w/ Vista. Check the Backup downloads section here at MajorGeeks for more info. This is one of the main reasons why I won't be using Vista on my home PC for at least 6-8 months.

for the free burning solution, vista has an abbility to burn DVD disk itself without using 3d party burning progs. But of caurce NERO would be better.

 

what is it called and where is it ?and another question about vista when I turn my machine on I also have to click to start up visya o/s is there a way to make that automatic ?
