Is it possible? Any programs that do it? I ask because IE7 doesnt show up in the Add/Remove Programs area even with Show Hidden on.

I believe its built in to the os, i don't think it can be uninstalled from vista. What are your reasons for wanting to uninstall.

Ya, same as XP. If you don't like it use FF 2.xx, works well with Vista.

No can uninstall, but what you can do its to allocate your favoured browser as default but going to Control Panel > Programs > Default Programs > Set Default Programs and set FF or Opera or whatever to default status for various tasks, this was built in to allow users to set various non-MS apps as default.

as a personal note, IE7 in Vista is very good and now has various safeguards in security, as IE temps run in a very low security node so they do not have install and run rights, its similar to a sandbox.
