Prince of persia Sands of time error

Hey geeks....Whenever i try to install "Prince of Persia:Sands of Time" game....the installer wont run and instead it says
"Setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application"
Is there something i can do so that i cud run this game....
And also it is showing that the function main has failed to execute....
I guess ut doesnt recognise my specifications???becuase i have intel915GAG mother board........is my guess true???
It is an original cd
Please help geeks...

 

there is difrrence in windows xp and win 98 so if u run those files which is used in 98 that files can not run in xp and it always show that msg ok buddy
