    I still call him "Beta" - But the world is pushing me for a given name.

    The last poll helped immensely and we decided on Cian. I might spell it Kian which is the Americanized version of the name.

    Thoughts?

    (Oh for those who didn’t see the last poll the name is pronounced “Key-in”)

    Poor kid will be picked on unmercilessly at school with either choice, IMHO. :cry
    Can't you add another more "normal" name.
    Much prefer Conor, or better still Connor. :) Bazza

    Hey our Best Wish's CP, I voted; but all that really matters is that you guys have a happy healthy baby. When you first get to hold him, nothing else will matter, and the choice will come to you then, and I betcha it wont be "Beta"LOL

    I am posting from the materinty ward now...Found an open wi-fi. shhhhhhhh ;)

    I have a minor concern on the name being a tad different, but I live in a very Irish community so a lot of people know it. Also no kid of mine will ever be scared by other kids teasing him -- he will have to get past me teasing him first. Trust me teasing is an art form in my family. ;)

    Congratulations on the new baby, Jim! That's a real nice looking prototype Geek! (Where did he get that from?). I presume you went for Cian, eventually for a name. Good deal!

    Many a sleepless night ahead for you both, but they sure are worth it. Congrats to Martha, too, C.P.! :)
