Can not send emails using Outlook Expressicrosof

Help!
I keep getting erroe code Ox800CCCOF
when trying to send emails..I can get emails but not send.
Can someone please help?

Nope but i can post and try to help. Most of the time you see this error its an issue with your antivirus program scanning your email and for some reason falling to finish. Try disabling your email scanning features and see if that works.

I disabled McAfee anti virus & fire wall..also re installed the firewall..
I can send emails if I use my goggle email..

Any other ideas?

 

Have you checked that your outgoing (SMTP) server is properly entered in your mail account settings? Might be as simple as a typo.

 

Yes I have..I had my service provided log in & check all settings..
Also ran a scan from Mcafee that checked all my firewall & antivirus settings.

I think it boils down to a outlook express issue..

Any other ideas?
