Hi, This site's been a big help already. I uninstalled Norton AV trial, deleted all folders, ran ccleaner. In Ccleaner, Tools, Uninstall, programs to remove, I find this- Symantec KB-DocID:2003093015493306. What is this and is it safe to remove? I also uninstalled Norton S&R which I plan to reinstall. OS windows xp sp2. Thanks.

Gee! Maybe it's just a Knowledge Base document or something. I don't understand why I would need to uninstall this after I deleted all folders.

Regardless, I'm sure it's safe to remove; you've already removed all the other Symantec stuff, right? Might as well remove ALL Symantec remnants, so all will be clean for the re-install you have planned.

    Hi Hopperdave2000

Thanks for the reply. I've deleted everything. I was prompted by NS&R to save files about my backups before uninstall so they would be available upon reinstall. But I couldn't locate them with any certainty. The reinstall should go well.
