no idea

hi all, i'm very new to computers, i,m trying to find an online euchre (card game) site that is free. the ones i have found need java virtual machine installed to run, when i try to download it i can't because it is apparantly obsolete, i don't know if there's a replacement i can download or what i can do. any assistance would be greatly appreciated please.confused

 

hi and welcome to MG's. there is a lot of free online game sites out there but one i have used is pogo. http://www.pogo.com/action/pogo/login/entry.do?site=pogo you have to register first but it is free. you will need java to run online games and you can get it here http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp hope this helps...

 

hi wildwolf220, ty 4 ur response, i've tried that java link b4 (more than once) & every time i try 2 download it comes up with 'error 1311' & i don't know what that error is or how to rectify it.

Just had a thought.
Knackers, have you tried doing a manual download and install from the link suggested by Wildwolf220 and myself. Sometimes the Java direct install can give problems.

yeah mate i've tried that, still no joy, same result with error 1311.
