Exclamation USB drive:"file/directory corrupted & unreadable"

Hey guys,

I have a folder on my USB flash drive, which would not open when I double click on it. when I double-click on it, I get a window which says "cannot open-file or directory is corrupted and unreadable".
It's not any important folder, so I tried to right click and delete it, but I get the message: "cannot delete-file or directory is corrupted and unreadable"

all other folders on the USB drive work/behave fine.

anybody know what to do? I'd just like to remove this "corrupted" folder from the USB drive.

someone told me to run "chkdsk", but I don't know how to run/use it...
The USB drive is OCZ Rally 2GB; my laptop has win xp pro
-Thanks a lot..

Move the files you want to keep to your pc, then reformat the USB.

You might like to take the opportunity to format the USB stick to NTFS.

Check out
Refer to my post #5 on how to format a USB stick to NTFS (thanks Halo), but remember it won't work on a W9x PC, ME, if formatted to NTFS.
