Video Card ?

Hi not sure if this is the right place to post this but could I plz get some advice?
My daughter is trying to play a game and it keeps saying Video card compatible with Directx 8.0 or higher version not found ?? Im not well up on this sort of stuff so stumped as to what it means lol
Any advice would be great

Keep in mind your posting in a free support forum. We are all volunteers on our free time. You want an immediate answer go pay a repair tech. Basicly it means your using a video card that isn't capable of direct x 8. If you post your computers model and information we can probably recommend a card for your system.

 

Sorry ! Ok this is the info I got from system properties I hope this is what you mean ? - windows xp pro service pack2 Computer-Intel pent 3 mobile CPU 933HMz 930HMz, 512 MB of RAM and its fujitsu E series lifebook

Then under motherboard, motherboard name should be a field, go ahead and post it.

Yep your out of luck sorry. Laptops espically older ones don't have an upgrade path. Even very few of the new ones do.
