Streaming video

Okay, so this is my first post (although I'm an on-again-off-again reader) and I'm not sure if this is in the right place. Move me if need be, but here's the deal...

I can't view any .WMV files - and I need to! My job requires viewing live video off their main website and I just can't do it. I click play, it does nothing. HELP! If anyone has the answers, I know you guys do.

Thanks for your help. Turns out I needed to have it connected to the internet, and like a complete dummy, I did not. Thanks so much for your response, though.
