Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right section of the forum. I'm sure some geek will put me right though. Anyway, I use a wireless router on my cable modem. This means that it is an open network and therefore insecure. It worries me kinda that this is so as it tells me that what I do can be seen by others. How can I secure this network? If it's a technical answer, please spell it out in simple terms as I'm not really that technically minded. Only two people in the house use the network, plus the occasional visiting friend.
