That case isn't designed for very good air flow.

There's rebates on better brands of video cards. BFG, eVGA and XFX are all far better quality than Biostar and they have rebates going on newegg for a lot of them. You'll be better off with one of them and cheaper.

I wouldn't go AMD right now. For $230 you could get the E6600, I'd go with that personally. But if you're an AMD fan, it's a decent processor setup. The E6600 is typically a better processor:

That's a comparison chart to see benchmarks of the two chips. The Core 2 Duo E6600 is superior in basically every test.

The motherboard you selected can take DDR2 800. The cost difference is negligible, but worth it. Corsair is a great brand. OCZ is also good, for a dollar less.. faster.

Samsung HDs are decent. I'm a Seagate fan myself.

This monitor is basically the same thing, but it's cheaper from ViewSonic and they're a better company

Or for the same price you can get a 19" widescreen also from ViewSonic

I'm not trying to nitpick your parts, but rather show you equal quality if not better quality parts that are cheaper/same price.

lol didnt you already have a post like this that i posted in?

anyways, i think its a very nice rig but i, like sheesh, prefer intel. it is a better performer as well, like those charts show. id recommend getting a different video card that has DX10 capabilities. the 8600GTS is in that price range and performs very well.

check into the eVGA 680i motherboard or either of the 2 new XFX motherboards (LGA775 if you want to change to an intel processor)

i think that case is fine, as is everything else

for the monitor though, id hate buying one that i hadnt seen in person. stop by a local computer/electronics store and check out some monitors in person before you buy them online (or wherever you find the best price)
